The Finnish Pavilion in Astana is organized around separately standing sculpture constructions resembling city buildings or boulders in a wild landscape. Each of their interiors brings forth inimitable sensations, narrates its own unique story of Finland, its energy and future. The narrations are dedicated to a separate theme, for example water, education, ecologically pure technologies and sustainable power generation.
The basic purpose of the Exhibition pavilion is creation of intuitive and emotional sensation to become an impulse, a spark arousing curiosity of people and urging them to seek information about Finland, learn its experience and think about the prospects of energy development.
Visitors will get involved into the pavilion space spontaneously and dynamically. All types of senses will be involved including sound and taste. Perception of the design oscillates between digital and natural allowing the pavilion to become a site for discussions on technologies and nature.
