On Tuesday July 18 at 04:00 pm, at the Pavilion of Switzerland, under the auspices of UNICEF in Kazakhstan, a meeting will take place with young astrophysicist Isaac Mastopoulo. The Kazakhstani schoolboy will speak about his latest initiative in aiding physically impaired schoolchildren.
Born in Taraz, 15 years old Isaac is known to Kazakhstani people as a genius boy, young astrophysicist, schoolboy being appointed a meeting with Stephen Hawking himself. At the age of 8 months, for Isaac a diagnosis was established of severe infantile cerebral paralysis, spastic tetraparesis, peripheral lesion of cerebrospinal axis, astigmatism, heterophthalmia and pseudobulbar dysarthria. Isaac started speaking early, learned reading and got keen on literature, later on history, mythology and cosmology. He gets high grades and actively participates in the school and city social life. He is a winner of various scientific contests among the schoolchildren of the country.
Isaac’s appearance will be held in the ‘Book-Man’ format. Along with Isaac, participants from Russia, Switzerland and East Africa will speak. The speakers will narrate their stories in the close circle of listeners.
