The main EXPO-2017 Theme is revealed within the frames of thematic blocks of Belarusian display reflecting the achievements of the country in energy saving, energy efficiency, ecologically clean production, use of renewable energy sources, mitigation of nature damaging by economic activities.
A block of investment projects is aimed at investor attraction for implementation of new energy saving ecologically clean technologies at the leading enterprises in engineering, petro chemistry and production of consumer goods.
At the Belarusian Pavilion, innovational developments are also displayed of Belarusian scientists in alternative energy, reduction of carbon dioxide emission, energy efficient mode of life, production of energy saving and ecologically clean machinery, energy saving and energy efficient construction technologies, energy transmission control systems, informational-communicational and aviation-space technologies.
The distinctive aspect of the Belarusian Pavilion is that visitors may not only acquaint themselves with the displayed developments but also download them for further processing to their mobile devices via Wi-Fi or receive them to their emails. Such approaches are in the stream of ecologically clean paper-free operational interaction.
In the central part of the display area, presentation of the “Great Stone” Industrial Park is demonstrated being an integral part of the international project “Economic Belt of Silk Road”. The Industrial Park residents are granted considerable preferences for locating innovational producing units and scientific institutions in electronics, fine chemistry, bio-medicine, engineering, production of new materials with application of energy saving and ecologically clean technologies. The focus at the Industrial Park is brought on development of high-tech competitive production and involvement of transnational corporations of renowned world brands and contemporary management.
At the display hall, dummies of industrial machinery models are also demonstrated complying with the most severe ecological standards regulating content of harmful substances in exhaust gases (a bus of ecology class Euro-5, experimental model of self-moving combine-harvester powered by natural gas motor fuel and ecologically clean electric bus). Besides, an original dummy of electric bus is displayed at the Exhibition being the most prospective type of public transport for megalopolises.
The multimedia installation of the display includes two video films on the industrial, scientific and innovational potential of Belarus, and also on its historical and cultural heritage.
An integral part of the National Display of Belarus at EXPO-2017 is the exhibition of contemporary paintings “From Lisbon via Minsk, Moscow and Astana to Vladivostok” where works of modern painters of over 25 world countries are exhibited. The main theme of the exhibition is establishment and strengthening of friendship and interaction of the world peoples by means of the uniting energy of art, which also complies with the EXPO-2017 key message: “Future Energy”.
The national flair and singularity of Belarusian culture is reflected by the souvenir boutique where production of the widely renowned Belarusian brands is presented, and also handmade items of linen, leather, ceramic, pottery and straw wickering; all of them are produced of natural ecologically clean raw materials traditionally used in Belarus and being especially popular with the Exhibition visitors.
