In Poland, discussion of the accomplished EXPO-2017 International Specialized Exhibition is continuing
In the opinion of experts, the Exhibition gave a new momentum to development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Poland.
The European partners managed to present their innovations and hold meaningful negotiations with their colleagues.
The Kazakhstani-Polish Business Forum held in Astana during the Exhibition was attended by a record number of businessmen and investors from Poland. 10 agreementsweresignedbyresultsthereof.
“The Exhibition is over and now we reckon that the meetings between our businessmen and investors held during EXPO-2017 will bring considerable results. Our investors say that they have perfect partners in Kazakhstan. We can see they are ready to invest. From the very beginning of the year, we witness growth of commodity turnover between Kazakhstan and Poland: over 60% in the first two quarters. It is our common success,” thinks Jadwiga Emilewicz, Polish Vice Minister of Development.
According to Jadwiga Emilewicz, EXPO-2017 was a successful project of great importance for both countries.
“I had an occasion to visit Kazakhstan and see EXPO-2017 through my own eyes! I consider the Exhibition in Astana successful not only for Kazakhstan but for Poland, too. I want to mark the perfect organization! This year under the Exhibition, your country received great many guests. Among them was President of Poland Andrzej Duda who visited the Exhibition and met with President of Kazakhstan. We hope that after EXPO in Astana, Poland will become for the Kazakhstani a country where they will more often come not only to invest but just to relax. Though our territories are far away, we are connected thanks to direct flight connection between Warsaw and Astana.”
